Repeat Prescriptions

If you take a particular medication regularly it may be possible for you to arrange to have this medication without seeing the doctor each time. Please arrange this with your doctor.

Repeat prescriptions can be ordered by completing the “tear-off” slip attached to previous prescription. They can also be ordered via our online repeat prescription service.  If you wish to register for online services please contact our reception desk.  Once you have registered online services can be accessed here:

You can collect your prescription from reception or ask for us to have it picked up by the local pharmacy. If you send a stamped addressed envelope we are happy to post your prescription to you.

Please ensure that you order your request in plenty of time before your medication runs out. Repeat prescription requests take 2 full working days to process. We advise you to place your order one week before you need it.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
